About Asking For Me

With increasing hostility in evangelical spaces in America today, many of us have sought refuge “outside,” away from religious gatekeepers. Many of us have been in some kind of spiritual wilderness for years, struggling to make sense of all we have seen and experienced in church environments. We have tried to ask questions in Good Faith, trying to remain humble and open, leaving plenty of room for everyone to speak their mind and wrestle out what is good and true and beautiful.

But questions are sometimes seen as attacks.

Questions can be turned into weapons against even the most humble of askers. Some of us have seen the pain and hurt first hand. So here we are. Asking questions and asking for answers from anyone who will give one.

Do you have a place for questions?

We still believe God is at work, even in the wilderness of faith and in turbulent times, even when our doubts and fears seem to loom large. We hope that this space can nurture our journey for clarity and truth for our own spiritual health and to light a path for others along the way.
